Privacy Policy
Last updated: [date]
This policy explains how Stefanie Gordinier Familien KG ("Westbrook Hill", "we", "us") collects and uses personal data when you visit westbrookhill.com. We are based in Germany and this site targets UK residents, so we apply both the EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR) and the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR, together with the Data Protection Act 2018), whichever gives you the stronger protection.
1. Data controller
Stefanie Gordinier Familien KG, Allee 15, 32756 Detmold, Germany, is the data controller for this site. Contact us at hello@westbrookhill.com for any privacy query.
2. What data we collect
Westbrook Hill is a static, read-only guide. We do not run user accounts, sign-up forms or comment sections. We collect:
- Standard web log data — IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring page and timestamps, collected automatically by our hosting provider for security and reliability.
- Font requests — this site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. Loading a font requests a file from Google's servers, which necessarily discloses your IP address to Google. See our Cookie Policy for details.
We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
3. What happens when you click through to a casino
When you click "Visit site" on a listing, you leave westbrookhill.com and go to the operator's own website, which is a separate data controller with its own privacy policy. Our affiliate links may pass a tracking parameter to the operator so they can credit any resulting sign-up to us — this does not identify you personally to us. We do not receive your account, deposit or gambling activity data from operators.
4. Lawful basis and purposes
- Operating and securing the website — legitimate interests.
- Measuring which listings perform, if analytics is enabled in future — consent, collected via the cookie banner before any non-essential cookie is set.
5. Data retention
Web server logs are retained for a limited period for security and diagnostic purposes and then deleted or anonymised. We do not retain personal data longer than needed for the purposes above.
6. Your rights
Under UK GDPR and EU GDPR you have the right to access, correct, erase or restrict use of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability, where applicable. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@westbrookhill.com. As a UK resident, you have the right to complain to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). As our company is based in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, you may also complain to the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit NRW (LDI NRW).
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site changes. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above.
